Forest Survey of India (FSI) is a leading
national organization reporting to the Ministry of Environment, Forests and
Climate Change (Government of India) and is responsible for assessing the
country's forest resources on a regular basis.
Nominations are invited for the appointment of fifteen (15)
technical associates and Website developer on a purely contractual basis for
work related to DIP / GIS under various projects / plans initially for a period
of one year, subject to further extension, if necessary.

Selection process:
Candidates who meet the essential qualifications and
experience must first pre-register using the online form available on the ISF
website www.fsi.nic.in. After selecting online registration forms, eligible
applicants will be called for a walk-in test at FSI, Dehradun at a date to be
communicated to them
by e-mail and SMS. The selection of applications will be
made on the basis of respect for qualifications and experience and age limit
criteria. The final selection of candidates will be carried out on the basis of
the preliminary test which will consist of three parts: (i) written (multiple
choice / short answer type) (ii) Practical test on the use of remote sensing
and GIS software (only candidates who will qualify for a written test will be
invited to Practical test) (iii) Maintenance.
