HSEE Entrance Exam- 2019 

IIT Madras has released HSEE Entrance Exam notification for the admission into a 5year integrated master of arts programmes. Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Exam (HSEE)- 2019 will be conducted on April 21, 2019, as per the announcement.  

The department offers a five-year integrated Master of Arts program. With the launch of this program, the IITM has taken an important step in fully play its role in higher education in the country's arts and social sciences. 

Courses offered:

Integrated M.A in Development Studies

Integrated M.A in English Studies

Eligibility for M.A Programme:

Intermediate/ 10+2 students (or) 2 year pre-university examination pass outs are eligible.

Age: Candidates who born after October 1, 1994, are only eligible. Relaxations for reserved candidates is provided in the official note.

HSEE Selection Process:

Candidates are selected based on the score obtained in the Entrance Exam(HSEE-2019)

HSEE Entrance Exam Date: April 21, 2019

Examination Fee: 2400/- for General/BC and 1200/- for SC/ST/PWD

Receiving of applications will start from December 12, 2018, and the last date for receiving applications is January 23, 2019.
