Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical Technology with minimum 65% marks.
Bachelor degree in Engineering in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical and Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical and Electronics with minimum 65%marks.
Eligible GATE 2019 Paper Code: Chemical (CH) and Instrumentation (IN)

Eligibility Criteria for GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2019 Qualifiers

1. Candidates belong to Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical Technology disciplines are only considered under Chemical Engineering(CH) discipline for GAIL posts.
2. Candidates belong to Engineering in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical and Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical and Electronics disciplines are only considered under Instrumentation Engineering(IN) for GAIL posts.
3. Candidates with other disciplines are not eligible to apply.
4. Applying candidates have to produce necessary certificates in the format mentioned in the GAIL careers website. www.gailonline.com
5. Candidates should complete their registration with correct details in all respects. 
6. Candidates who are in their final year of B.E/ B.Tech or M.E/ M.Tech are eligible to apply for the posts. Also, those candidates are required to have minimum prescribed marks 65% for unreserved and 60% for reserved candidates.

GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2019 Selection Process

1. First, the candidates have to complete the online registration in GAIL website using their GATE 2019 registration number.
2. A link will be made available for the GATE 2019 applicants to apply separately for the GAIL careers from 12th February 2019 to 13th March 2019. 
3. Based on the score obtained in the GATE 2019 in respective disciplines, the candidates are shortlisted for a further selection process.
4. The further rounds are Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
5. All the required certificates for the GAIL PSU recruitment must be produced at the time of Interview.
