1. Candidates should have a valid score in GATE 2019 Exam. 
2. Eligible GATE codes to apply for the Executive Trainee posts is Electrical(EE), Electronics(EC) and Civil(CE).
3. Candidates, age should be not more than 28 years as on 31 December 2018.
4. Applying candidates percentage of marks should be 65% or equivalent CGPA.
5. The eligible disciplines for the recruitment in Electrical Branch(EE) are Electrical/Electrical(Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering(Electrical).
6. The eligible disciplines for the recruitment in Electronics Branch(EC) are Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics and Electrical Communication/ Telecommunication Engineering. 

Power Grid Recruitment 2019 Through GATE Selection Process

1. Candidates who are qualified in the GATE 2019 are called for the Group Discussion and Interview based on the qualifying marks.
2. The selection process consists of Weightage of marks 85% from GATE 2019, 3% from Group Discussion, and 12% from Personal Interview for calculating the final score.
3. First, the candidates have to register online in www.powergridindia.com for Power Grid Recruitment Through GATE 2019 from 15th January 2019 to 15th February 2019. 
4. Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- towards application fee. 
5. Candidates have to keep their GATE 2019 Admit card and GATE 2019 scorecard safely for further rounds and recruitments.
