McAfee Software QA Engineer Responsibilities and Functions

Create and document test plans and test cases for non-GUI interfaces

Create and execute automated test suites/cases for non-GUI interfaces

Selected candidates are responsible for testing on both Windows and Non-windows platforms.

Selected candidates are responsible for non-functional areas of testing especially Performance, stress, soak and Security.

Candidates are responsible for creating automation scripts using python language

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills   

Required Skills

1. Candidates with 0-2 years of IT experience with a BE/MCA Degree
2. Candidates should have knowledge or experience in Automation using a python scripting language
3. You Should have Strong Analytical skills and should demonstrate the same in testing exercises.
4. Should have proven experience and a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test methodologies
5. Should have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external parties including QA, Support, Development Engineers and Customers.
6. Prior experience of working in Scrum will be an added advantage
7. Test certifications such as ISTQB certification preferred.
