Indian Navy SSR Jobs: In the latest notification, Indian Navy has announced 2500 vacancies for senior secondary recruit(SSR) Jobs for August 2019 batch. The online applications are invited from the unmarried Indian male candidates to fill the vacancies. As per the notification, the selected candidates in the recruitment drive are needed to undergo training from the month of August 2019.  Candidates should be under below eligibility criteria to apply online for the Indian Navy recruitment process.

Educational Qualification:
10+2 qualified candidates with maths and physics and at least one of the following subjects (Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science) from the boards of school education recognized by MHRD, Govt of India.
Age Eligibility: Candidates should have born between 01 August 1998 and 31 July 2002(Both dates are inclusive)

Indian Navy SSR Jobs Recruitment Process

Let us see the step by step process of the Indian Navy Recruitment Process

1. Candidates are selected based on the score obtained in the computer-based examination. 
2. The exam question paper will be available in English and Hindi Languages(bilingual).
3. The exam contains 100 multiple choice questions each carrying 01 marks. 
4. The questions paper will comprise of English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge. 
5. The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2 and the syllabus & sample papers are available on the official website i.e. www.joinindiannavy.gov.in
6. The duration of the computer exam will be1 hour and the candidates are required to pass in all sections in aggregate.
7. Candidates should note that the negative marking for each wrong answer is one fourth(0.25) of the mark assigned to that question. 
8. The Navy reserves the right to determine the pass mark and aggregate for the exam.
9. Candidates who are selected in the recruitment process are needed to qualify the physical fitness test and medical fitness test. 
10. Physical Fitness test consists of 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups and 10 push ups.
11. The medical examination will be conducted by the authorized military doctors. 
12. Minimum Required height for the job is 157 cms and minimum chest expansion is 5 cms.

14. The selected candidates in all tests are needed to undergo 22 weeks of training at INS Chilka starting from August 2019.
